Crockett County Nursing Home earns third consecutive quarterly recognition

ALAMO, Tenn. -- For the third quarter in a row, Crockett County Nursing Home's standard of care has been recognized by a national nursing home quality review panel. CCNH has once again exceeded its targeted goals in the latest findings released by the Nursing Home Quality Initiative's STAR program, which measures a number of of different factors in evaluating the quality of care at facilities throughout the country.

The STAR program (Setting Targets -- Achieving Results) evaluates nursing homes in one of more of the following categories: use of physical restraints; presence of high risk pressure ulcers; management of chronic pain; treatment and prevalence of depression; post acute-care pain; and post acute-care pressure ulcers. More information can be found at the NHQI's Web site at www.nhqi-star.org.
