Crockett County Nursing Home exceeds target in quality of care study

ALAMO, Tenn. -- The quality of care at Crockett County Nursing Home has once again been recognized as some of the best in the nation. CCNH has exceeded its targeted goals in the latest findings released by the Nursing Home Quality Initiative's STAR program, which measures a number of of different factors in evaluating the quality of care at facilities throughout the country.

The STAR program (Setting Targets -- Achieving Results) evaluates nursing homes in one of more of the following categories: use of physical restraints; presence of high risk pressure ulcers; management of chronic pain; treatment and prevalence of depression; post acute-care pain; and post acute-care pressure ulcers.
